I will typically start us off with a discovery call where I can formally introduce myself and also listen as you speak about your brand, your business goals and your pain points. Thereafter I will follow up with a brand identity questionnaire and a design proposal should we collaborate. This is followed by some creative strategy which will help us to align all the design decisions to your ultimate biz goals and target audience. Only then do I dive into development and the entire process is collaborative! All design work is reviewed along the way and should there be need to tweak anything, I am more than happy to do so! Once all your brand assets are approved and 100% aligned, I will package these neatly and send them off to you!

Yes, I do. Typically, a minimum of 50% of the package price is required as a deposit to secure and start a project. The balance is required to transfer any high resolution digital files. This is in best practice and done in good faith.

A single logo cannot capture your entire brand story. For this reason, I am unable to design just a logo for your brand. If you would like to explore more of how we can work together, I am willing and happy to create a unique package for your brand.

I believe that branding is more impactful when it is cohesive. Piecing together different visual elements from existing branding can be a challenge; thus my preferred placement would be to work on your entire identity from scratch. However, given the nature of the project, I am willing and happy to see how we can work around this!

Good branding is an investment. Project prices are estimated accordingly as the scope may differ each time. Upon discovery, a pricing and services guide will be sent to you with the minimum rates that the designer will ask for (for a particular package). The final cost will be sent within a more robust project proposal document for your review.

It’s important to note that you will be responsible for covering any font licensing should we opt for a commercial font as it has to be under your name in order for you to use it for your business. I also do not cover any product printing or package printing costs. Additionally, should we work on your website, you will be responsible for any subscription costs, additional plugin costs or any third-party fees that may arise based on your desired project needs.

Typically branding projects (including packaging and web design) will span over a time frame of 4-8 weeks depending on the scope. However this timeline may be affected by review times and other external factors like acquiring packaging suppliers or product printers.

My goal as your designer is to strategically work towards developing branding that you are absolutely in love with and that appeals to your target audience. You will recieve your files in high resolution raster formats (.png and .jpg) and high resolution vector formats (.pdf, .svg, .eps and .ai). All of these file formats and their uses will be broken down concisely in your brand guidelines.
